FAMILY SOUTH TOUR
Cost: ¥60,000 (up to 5 pax, extra rider ¥11000)
Our easiest and shortest course starts with a visit to the temples of central Kyoto before following the Takase Canal and Kamo River into Gion. After weaving through the backstreets of Kyoto’s famous geisha and teahouse district, we head up to the spectacular Tofukuji Temple before arriving at the world famous Fushimi Inari Shrine. After a short stroll taking in the famous orange Torii gates, we head home.
PRIVATE NORTH TOUR
Cost: ¥80,000 (up to 5 pax, extra rider ¥15000)
The first stop on this tour takes us into the ancient Honganji temple. We then cycle north to explore Kitano Tenmangu Shrine and the stunning Golden Pavilion (where we will spend about 20 minutes). Next, we head for a delicious lunch (included) before following the gentle downhill path past the Imperial Palace and towards Gion. After cruising through the backstreets, we cross over the Kamo river and head home.
PRIVATE FULL TOUR
Cost: ¥100,000 (up to 5 pax, extra rider ¥17,000)
After a short stop at Nishi Honganji Temple, we ride north through the Sanjo Shopping arcade and onto Kitano Tenmangu Shrine and the Golden Pavilion, which we will will enter (fee included). From here, we head east towards the Imperial Palace, stopping for a traditional Japanese lunch on the way. After lunch, we head south past the Heian Shrine and into the backstreets of Gion, Kyoto's famous Geisha district. The last leg of the journey heads south through Tofukuji Temple and onto the iconic orange gates of Fushimi Inari before heading home.
